Whatever Weighs You Down

A new 45 minute long multimedia work exploring seemingly immovable objects (physical, musical, and semantic). Whilst playing piano, vocalising, and manipulating electronic sounds with MiMU glove technology, alongside onscreen performances by acclaimed Deaf performance artist Chisato Minamimura and composer-performer James Oldham, Zubin Kanga's onstage protagonist pulls apart the audio-visual contract of the musical stage.
