Joanna Ward
Joanna Ward is a composer, performer and researcher from Newcastle upon Tyne, currently based in London. She is interested in making scores and making sounds, working broadly within an experimental impulse. Her practice is embedded in an aesthetic (and political) love of pop music, and contextualised by her research into what an anti-work compositional practice could be — thinking seriously about play and also abolition.
